Awkwafina
Awkwafina began as an American musician and rapper performing sly tunes that dealt with questions of race and sexual identities with a funny twist. In the years before she stepped to Hollywood her career, she had the opportunity to make a few songs. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first musical experience. She was a trumpet player. Following her Jazz and classical training She delved into hip-hop as a teen. After concentrating on education, she graduated with an education in journalism at college and a women's studies specialization. Following graduation, she decided to focus on music. The song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. The track was later included in her debut album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album featured other popular hits, including the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC BitcheUSD. The track that was published is directly linked to the album Awkwafinas NYC, her travel guide for 2015. Following a career that was successful as a singer She took on the role of actor. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. Her breakout performances included Dude Ocean's 8, along with Crazy Rich Asians. It was in June that she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
