Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1978) was born in Campinas, So Paulo. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March 2020. She is a current analyst and a team leader of GI-TOC collaboration with multilateral partners. Research conducted by the GITOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and other types of violence that occur in the framework of illicit economies. Apart from organized crime, her research is centered on the human rights implications and international human rights law. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with distinction in International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. In addition, she has an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations through Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula received a magnacum laude bachelor's degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She's been a attorney for over four years. She has worked at a law firm that focuses on civil litigation that involves public law. Her past experiences also included working with roles in non-governmental organizations headquartered within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
