Shawnee was born in New York City and is a famous American actor and singer. Shawnee has starred in numerous horror movies, earning her the nickname "scream-queen". Shawnee Smith is best known for her roles in "The Stand," a film based on Stephen King's book that has the same title. In addition, she has made guest appearances on series including Cagney & Lacey Married With Children, Murder, She Wrote as well as... She was a member of the punk/metal duo 'Fydolla Ho' in the mid 2000s with who she performed in across the US and the UK. At the beginning of 2000, she was a part of Smith & Pyle a country-rock desert band' with Missi Pyle. Their first album was called It's Okay to Be Happy and was recorded in Joshua Tree. The demands of a busy personal and professional life ended the band's existence. Shawnee has a good command of various instruments such as the piano, drums as well as the guitar. She also sang solo on the soundtrack for 'Catacombs'.
